How to Save Your Swimsuit from Dyeing and Fading?

How to Save Your Swimsuit from Dyeing and Fading?

When we wash clothes in life, there are often cases where the clothes are dyed. This can also happen with bathing suit cleaning, such as white one piece swimsuit, floral one piece swimsuit and so on. This color is relatively simple. Once dyed, it will affect the appearance, and it will be a pity to lose it. Let us introduce some methods to remove the color on the swimsuit.

How to wash off swimsuit dyeing?

Use mild detergent to heat the water and mix it, gently rub the stained area with your fingers until the stain is lightened.

Before cleaning, use a mild detergent to brush directly on the stain. Do not get wet. Leave it for 5 minutes and then wash it regularly.

The pure white fabric can be lightly brushed with washing powder, and the stained area can be removed directly with a toothbrush using a thinner bleach (1:10 dilution).

Potassium permanganate and acetic acid. The method is to first dissolve a little potassium permanganate in water, and then put the clothes to be rinsed in, to be fully saturated. After soaking for 10 to 20 minutes, the clothes will appear dark red. Pick up the clothes and wash them with water. Then dissolve a little acetic acid in water, put the clothes soaked in potassium permanganate into the acetic acid solution, the clothes will slowly change from dark red to the original color, and the dyed areas will also fade away Will damage the original color of the clothes.

Add 1:1 detergent powder and detergent containing anionic surfactant to warm water. Soak the stained area in warm water for more than half an hour, and then scrub with your hands. If it is still not clean, put all the clothes into water above 50 degrees, add a small amount of washing powder to scrub, and use the fading of the clothes to reduce the color difference.

How to recover the dyed swimsuit?

Put warm water in the washing machine, start the washing machine for rinsing, and add 84 disinfectant. Add about one-third of the disinfectant solution to the half-cylinder water to dissolve and dilute. Then put in the clothes, cover the machine cover, and rinse for about 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, the clothes were taken out for drying, and the original color was restored after drying.

How to clean swimsuit?

Wash with lukewarm water, soak in neutral detergent (such as shower gel, shampoo) for 10 minutes, then wash by hand. Do not use washing machine and bleach.

Rinse the swimsuit thoroughly. If the inner surface of the swimsuit is difficult to clean, the swimsuit can be soaked until the sediment is completely settled and then washed.

Do not squeeze firmly. Do not wrung the swimsuit too hard after washing. It is recommended to lay the swimsuit flat on a dry towel to allow the towel to absorb the moisture on the swimsuit and let it dry naturally in a ventilated place.

Dry in the shade. Swimsuits should not be exposed to the sun to prevent the fabric from drying out and becoming brittle.

How to deal with the faded swimsuit?

What could be worse for a damaged swimsuit than a faded swimsuit? You look at the swimsuit you like very much, all you can think of is the money spent on it. Some relatively expensive swimsuits, such as high neck swimsuit, high neck one piece swimsuit, speedo swimsuit, Nike swimsuit, striped one piece swimsuit, etc., if they fade, throwing away will make us very sad. But there are still ways to remedy, some methods will be introduced below.

First pour a small amount of water into the spray bottle, then add ammonia and detergent, and shake thoroughly to ensure that both ingredients are in it.

Spray the mixture on the swimsuit, evenly where it fades. However, if the whole swimsuit fades, we can prepare a bucket filled with water, add ammonia and detergent to it, and then soak the whole swimsuit in the bucket for 30 minutes.

Finally, we will use a toothbrush. Use a brush to brush the faded parts of the clothes. Remember to brush lightly and with minimal force to avoid damaging the swimsuit. Wash the swimsuit again after we finish.
